Move over 10% hikes and prime parking spots. A Chinese company has just gone all out to reward its star performers. Top performing employees at Qihoo 360, a cybersecurity based out Beijing, will be rewarded with package that includes a trip to Bali and a new Porsche 911 – and an opportunity to spend the night with Japanese porn star Julia Kyoka.
The award was to celebrate the successful employees ahead of the Chinese New Year. Qihoo 360 deals with Internet security and was in the news recently for buying the 360.com domain for a whopping 11 million euro. The tech giant claims to be a leading Internet and mobile platform company in China and is working with almost half a billion active users per month.
This isn’t the first time Chinese companies have come up with unusual ways to motive employees. Just last week, a Chinese company had hired “programming cheerleaders” – pretty young girls – to motive their engineers.
But Qihoo 360’s plan takes the cake. The company has just raised the bar (heh) for bonuses the world over.
