Gold began 2015 at about $1,175 an ounce. By January 23, it had rallied to almost $1,300. In February, it slipped about $60 and the fall continued in March. After a brief consolidation, it has been on a downtrend since June. Since July 20, 2015, when gold slipped below $1,100, it has remained in that region so far.

Firing Round At FabFurnish: 50 Employees Sacked As Part Of “Business Positioning”

FabFurnish.com has fired at least 50 employees, or about a fourth of its workforce. It is vacating warehouses as part of a business restructuring. The online furniture seller is changing its model and laying off employees at various levels. The company said it has “undertaken a resource optimisation exercise” and is “hiring a talent pool ideal for our new business positioning”.

Nestle India, facing trouble for the last several weeks over the ban on its popular Maggi noodles, has got major relief today. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)- approved laboratory of Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) has found Maggi noodles to be in compliance with the country’s food safety standards.
