Lovely Professional University is a private university located in Jalandhar, Punjab. It was established in 2005. The University has a sprawling campus of 600 acres and hosts more than 30,000 students in a year.
The University grants commission recognises the University, and the other affiliation that the college has is of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Council of Architecture, Pharmacy council of India, Bar Council of India (BCI), Indian Council of agriculture research (ICAR), also the college has International accreditation of Accreditation council for business schools and programs (ACBSP).

LPU Admission to all the courses Undergraduate, Postgraduate & Doctoral programme is conducted via LPUNEST, the official test conducted by the University to select the candidates. Along with the LPUNEST, University accepts other test scores for different programmes.

LPU Admission process starts by Registering and signing up on the website portal. Then you can apply for the respective courses and apply for the LPUNEST. Afterwards, you will be given the option to book the slot and appear for the exam.
The Online registration starts in the 1st week of January, the Slot booking date is around 15-February, and the test is conducted from Mid-March to the 1st week of April. Afterwards, the result of the exam is declared Mid April. The last step in the process is Online counselling & seat allocation.
Fees Structure
The Fee Structure for LPU differs according to the courses.
- LPU B.Tech fees for computer science and engineering is INR 2,40,000 per annum.
- LPU MBA fees are INR 3,80,000 per annum.
- The LPU fee structure for BA LLB {Hons.} is INR 2,40,000 per annum.
Apart from these, Examination fees of INR 3000 will also need to be paid for every semester.
