A Chinese billionaire CEO has taken 6400 of his employees on vacation to celebrate his company’s anniversary, news.co.au has reported. Li Jinyuan, Chairman of the Tiens Group, took his entire company to Nice, France and in doing so, created a world record. The 6400 strong contingent stood on the Promenade des Anglais, the main beachfront area in the city, and spelled out the words “Tiens’ dream is Nice in the Cote d’Azur”.
The scale of this offsite was indeed staggering. The contingent booked booked 4760 rooms in 79 four- and five-star hotels in Cannes and Monaco, in addition to 146 buses. The expedition is set to have made the city of Nice, a holiday spot in the south of France, 20 million Euros. The trip also included a trip to Paris, including a visit to the Louvre museum.
This man knows how to do offsites right.
