Intuit seems to provide many of the perks Google is famous for — its employees enjoy free meals tuck shop and café, and the companies provides snacks, fresh fruits, tetra juices, cereals and an assortment of cookies in its pantries.
Additionally, employees have access to recreational facilities such as a massage chair located in the recreation area, Snooker, Fuse ball and Table Tennis Tables, carom boards and board games. X-Box gaming lounges have been recently introduced on their campus. The fitness centre provides physiotherapist visits, Yoga and Zumba classes.
“At Intuit, we are committed in providing the best facilities for our employees and create a culture that fosters a strong work-life balance. This is to ensure that the world’s best talent can do the best work of their lives at Intuit,” Somnath Baishya, Director and Head HR at Intuit India had told OfficeChai last year. Intuit also allows for generous maternity and paternity leaves. ““At Intuit we understand that parenthood is a significant event and responsibility in an employee’s life. As an organisation we believe that it is our responsibility to stand by our employees during those critical moments. ” Intuit’s adoption leaves are gender agnostic, as long as the employee is the primary caregiver for the child.
Intuit also has a special focus on the environment. Their campus buildings are LEED platinum certified buildings, and one building is integrated with a Light Management System, which uses motion senors to optimize the usage of lights. Intuit does not allow the use of plastic or paper cups at any tuck shops or in any of the pantries, and recycles its waste.
