Zomato users shall now be able to have their customer service questions answered in real time. The company has introduced an in-app chat feature that will help users resolve their queries and complaints about Zomato’s service.
Users can chat with a Zomato executive and track orders, get information on promos, cancel orders and check the refund status for a rejected orders anytime between 9am and 11pm, the company said in a statement.
While it started off as a restaurant discovery platform, Zomato has made rapid strides into areas such as food ordering and table reservations. Restaurant discovery doesn’t require immediate resolution of queries, but Zomato’s expansion into other areas seems to have promoted the introduction of this feature.
