Even as AI is threatening to upend the nature of work, some startups are looking to help people navigate these changes.
French ed-tech startup Le Wagon, which focuses on web development and AI courses, has entered India with a campus in Bangalore. Le Wagon’s first cohort in India will begin on July 7, 2025, in Bangalore with a 9-week, full-time, in-person Software Development & AI Bootcamp. The program is tailored for beginners and focuses on hands-on coding, real-world project development, and AI-driven application building. Le Wagon has set up a center in JP Nagar where the classes will be held.

“India represents a critical growth market for us due to its rich talent pool and vibrant tech ecosystem,” said Boris Paillard, Executive Chairman & Co-founder, Le Wagon “Our mission is to empower the Indian talent with the expertise and mindset to build, launch, and scale innovative technology products that make a global impact,” he added.
Le Wagon was founded in 2013 in France and originally held bootcamps to teach people web development. Over the years, it has trained over 30,000 individuals across more than 40 cities worldwide, offering intensive coding bootcamps in Web Development, Data Science, and AI. Le Wagon says that 84 percent of its students end up finding jobs after its nine week long bootcamps. Its alumni work at companies like OpenAI, and have founded startups which have collectively raised $1 billion in funding.
And with the job landscape shifting as rapidly as it is, such bootcamps could come in handy for people looking to refresh their skills to remain competitive in the marketplace. AI is changing the nature of work, and skills are becoming obsolete in matters of weeks. And both career professionals and young job seekers would do well to remain on top of their fields as AI disrupts the nature of work across sectors and industries.
