Google will set up its largest non-US campus in Hyderabad, the Telangana state government has said. Google, which is known for its sprawling campuses with frills such as slides and themed decor, will invest Rs. 1000 crore over four years and double its India headcount to 13,000.

Google would be allocated 7.2 acres in Gachibowli, the main IT corridor of Hyderabad, and it will build its own facility, Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao said on Tuesday.
The tech giant already has a presence in Hyderabad in its Kondapur campus which houses 700 Googlers. The office is spread over five floors and boasts 2 cafeterias, a gym, a sauna, a basketball court, and sports rooms which offer facilities for table tennis, pool and also have XBoxes.
