Urjit Patel, the newly appointed RBI Governor and successor of Raghuram Rajan, receives a little more than 2 lakh as salary per month and has not been provided with any supporting staff, except two cars and two drivers, The Financial Express reported. Patel, appointed as the RBI Deputy Governor in 2013, is staying at the bank’s flat in Mumbai.
