In a landmark move, Mukesh Ambani officially announced the much awaited mobile network Jio. With its free voice calls for life, no roaming charges and cheap data tariffs, it’s very likely going to disrupt the telecom industry in India. Rival telecom players Airtel, Vodafone, Idea and others already have a lot to worry about, and their stocks have reflected the panic. Meanwhile conspiracy theories have also emerged on how the Jio logo looks like Oil spelled backwards.
