Andreessen Horowitz has published its ranking of the top 50 consumer AI apps by monthly revenue, using data from YipitData, and the list offers a revealing look at where people are actually spending money on AI. Unsurprisingly, the foundation model companies sit at the very top, but the rest of the list is a mix of design tools, vibe coding platforms, voice and music generators, video makers and productivity apps. One notable omission: Google’s Gemini is left out because its consumer revenue couldn’t be reliably separated from Google’s broader consumer business.
The ranking looks quite different from the list of top AI apps by monthly visits, which skews toward free products with huge audiences. Here, what matters is who is getting people to open their wallets.
Here’s the full list, with a look at what each app does.

What The List Tells Us
Taken together, the ranking shows that consumer AI spending is spread widely. Creative tools for video, image, music and voice take up a large share of the list, vibe coding apps like Replit and Lovable have broken into the top ten, and agents like Manus and Genspark show that people are paying to hand off entire tasks, not just ask questions. With the two largest model makers sitting at the top and the rest of the market fragmenting underneath them, the next year of this list could look very different.
